no power point

i installed microsoft office home student 2007 on  my laptop and i never
noticed the power point never installed till my son needed for a project. i
have the power point viewer but unable to make power point and dont know why
.i only bought this program due to knowing my son would need to make power
points for school . please help .me. i dont know if i should unistall and
reinstall and will we loose things like reports.thank you

You will not loose any documents you have created if you decide to uninstall. I would just run the install program again, and only select PowerPoint as the unit to be installed.

It won't ask, it will look to install the whole package. But, you can select what you want to install

If you just run set up again from the disc you should get the option to "Add
/ Remove features" and be able to add PowerPoint
