When I run a presentation that used to work ok I get the message:
The controls that the presentation uses are nothing unusal, fancy or extra.
I've just used a few control toolbox text boxes (so I can enter text during
the presentation).
How do I re-register or re-install the basic, default activex files? What
dll am I huniting for (if that's the right question to ask!)?
I've tried dectect and repair and have the latest updates and plug-ins as
far as I'm aware.
Any help gratfull appreciated! Need it sorted by next week! Thanks. Spence

I forgot to add it before posting that the error message was:
"Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not be
registered on this computer."
Since posting, I've found out that my text box will work in some
presentations but not others.

Hi Spence,
I suspect you are using early binding instead of late binding on any VBA
controls (if you are using VBA). IS VBA support installed on both machines?
Did you add any controls to the default control toolbox?

Thanks for the reply Bill.
Sadly I have no idea what binding is all about!
I have lost the control in presentations but not in others that I'm running
on the same machine. Very confusing!

Before roping ourselves into a binding agreement, let's look at this in another
way:
What exact control did you add to your slides?
