I have several PPT shows created previously (not sure if created in
2000/2003), with music linked and played throughout. My workstation was
replaced and the version on it is 2003. All files were moved over, music will
not play in show now, have removed and reinserted music link but still does
not play, this is all PPT shows.

Does the music play from outside the shows? (In other words, when your
workstation was replaced, is it possible the sound card was fubared?)

I believe life is meant to be lived. But:
if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived
