Hi Folks,
I have a XP Pro updated/ Office 2007 machine. When printing random
characters are left off through words sometimes. The only pattern I can see
is that it occurs in graphs, tables, and footnotes. Anyone know why this
might be going on? Thanks!

Hi Matt

Have you got your latest printer driver? Do you have any problems viewing on
screen or just in print? Oh and have you played with the options under
office button -> powerpoint options -> advanced -> print?

hi lucy :). I can see all in the screen, thanks. I do have the latest
drivers. I have not messed with the advanced print under powerpoint options
yet. BUT I contacted my printing vendor and I solved it by going under
printing pref. for the printer and going to the quality tab. In the window
listing the objectives, I selected text and hit the details button. Then I
went to the Misc tab in the resulting window and unchecked both use printer
fonts and clip font characters and under true type mode I switched from
download as true type to download as bit image. That seemed to fix my
problem. Thanks Lucy :)!

Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it - I'm sure it will be useful
info for others too :-)
