Trouble with templates in Powerpoint 2002

I have created a design template. Saved it as a .pot. I can load it for the
first slide. When I click new slide all i can get is a blank slide. any ideas?

Steve,

This sounds like you have created your 'template' or 'look' just on the 1st
slide.

What you need to do is create your 'look' on the 'slide master'

To get to the slide master

view menu > masters > slide master
