Saving problem on PPT 2000

When I try to save a PPT 2000 presentation an error message (I/O 0) appears
and it is not possible either save and close the application (OS is Windows
XP).
I already uninstalled Office and installed it again, but I got no improve.
How can I clear the problem ?
