in 2007 I have put a new placeholder (a copyright statement) on all the
master slides, but can't get it to appear on the presentation slides (I have
tried reset slide, and reclicking the layouts). Also, if I put it onto the
default master, shouldn't it appear also on all the subsidiary side masters
automatically?? (it doesn't).
Thanks

If it's a copyright statement that won't change on every side you should use
a TEXTBOX on the master slide.

Thanks - I was using a footer, and it was originally from ppt2003 - now I
have seen a couple of other posts, I presume that was the cause of my angst??
