Can't access embedded Excel file (PPT 2007)

Hi all~

I use powerpoint 2007.

There seem problems in embedding excel object(file)

1. I embed excel object into PPT document as icon.
2. After restart PPT application, the excel icon is vanished.. --;

Could you help me?

Hi,

How are you embedding it? Insert tab| Object| Create from File| Display as
Icon check box?

Thanks for reply.

I did as you mentioned.
"Insert tab| Object| Create from File| Display as Icon check box"

After saving file/exit/restarting PPT Application --> Icon is disappeared !!"
This same problem(Icon disappearing) occurred in my colleague's PC.

PPT version is 2007.

I expect your answer.
