Plays for Certain and dvd content

I am putting together a power point presentation for the local volunteer fire
department and am trying to insert a clip from a DVD using Plays for Certain.
The clip plays as expected on my screen, but when viewed through a projector
all you can see is a black box where the video should be. Any help with this
would be greatly appreciated.

The issue is most likely a setting with your video card (hardware
acceleration). Look here for info on how to resolve:
