Hi,

Hopefully an easy question, so here goes.

Is it possible when setting up slide templates in a Powerpoint 2007 document
to name the objects in the slide master. I want to access this document as a
template from a .Net application once its setup and would like to be able to
reference the names of the slide master objects on a page so that i know
where i'm inserting any objects for that page. If not what would be the best
approach to doing this?

Thanks in advance,

G

All object on the amster have a name. In 2007 this can be read (or changed)
from Format tab (select a shape first) > Selection Pane.

Ah, didn't know about the selection pane. thats good to know. Thanks for that;

Here's another question on the same subject. Is it possible that we can
rename the placeholders on a layout and then access these via their renamed
name in code?

Think i may be getting mixed up between master slides and layouts.
