The lack of these two features leaves me looking for an alternative to
PowerPoint.  The first is moving backgrounds.  Essentially the ability to add
a video clip as a background to a slide.  The other is Alert Messages.  We
use PowerPoint in our Church.  Our Nursery Staff would like the ability to
display the wristband number of a child who's parent need to come to the
nursery.  Alternately this could be a message like "Mr Smith you have a phone
call".
I have had some success finding add-ons for the moving backgrounds, but I
have had no luck with the Alert Messages.  Given that an integrated
Presentation Manager with these features will cost me around $200-$300, I am
not sure the $150-$300 price tag for an add-on to do moving backgrounds is
worth it.  I would prefer to stay with PowerPoint, but these are must haves
according to our staff.

Moving backgrounds would be a good feature.

I believe some specialist workship software for churches already has this
feature
