Anyone have problems with excel in powerpoint?

i have issues where my tables look fine until i try editing them, then
when
i close them, they look terrible in ppt, borders show up, fonts are
wrong,
all formatting is way off.

isnt this a fairly normal practice? shouldnt my excel file look
corrent in
ppt, even after editing?

I actually copied that from a past post by a different poster because
it echos my exact problems. I can never figure out why this happens
and it is so frustrating.

There are 8 posts in that thread, at least one of which had a solution for
the original poster. Did you try the things suggested there? Are you pasting
special as Excel Object, or are you just pasting? Which version of PPT and
Excel are you using?

Did you try the 100% thing? That was going to be my first suggestion.
