MS Office Forum / General PowerPoint Questions / March 2008Server application, etc., cannot be found.
My client sent a ppt twice. Both times I get what I've researched is a not uncommon dialogue. "The service application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application." I've a Mac with PPT v 11.3.5 and the latest updates. No idea about his. Never seen this before myself, but noted it, usually, in a several year old discussion. What advice can I offer him to fix this? Thank you. Depends on what you're doing when you get the error.
