I am trying to produce a powerpoint presentation into which I want to insert movie clips. I have the clips saved in .avi format. They play perfectly in windows media player but when I insert them into a powerpoint slide ("Insert movie from file") the movie is there but there is no sound. I have tried using the "Insert sound from file" command as well, but it has exactly the same outcome - pictures but no sound. Can anybody help? It only seems to give me the option of e-mailing it to someone, but neatly bound together in a zip file? I thought this would be useful because I've had issues with this when adding music, which I now copy into a file with the presentation and link to the music there. Hi Chilli Eater Make sure the movie and powerpoint are in the same folder before inserting the movie. And put the folder directly on the C drive (e.g. not in 'My documents') as long file paths seem to stump powerpoint.
