present bullet points one by one using presenter mouse

I want to bring in each bullet point with my presenter mouse as I'm ready to
speak about it.  I've looked at the animation tool but they move too fast and
I have no control over the timing.

You should have very good control over the timing of bullet points
animations in PPT 2002, 2003 and 2007, at least. Which version are you
using?
