In my PowerPoint 2002 there is an option to print handouts at 9 slides
per page.  Is there a way to allow the notes (or any other text) to be
printed below each slide in the handout?  That would be handy for the
speaker giving the presentation.

Dear Jeff,

Try File > Send to > Microsoft Office Word.

Try the Notes next to slide option. Will this work for you?
