Are there codes to place file names in headers/footers?

This is a question about PowerPoint 2003.  Are there text codes that will
allow me to place the absolute address of a file name in either headers or
footers?

I have students who instead of doing their own work, will just take a
friends presentation and place their name on top of someone elses work.

You might want to check out File > Properties > Summary > Author
