I have tried to setup a slide master for links. I also tried to use the font
tag to change the color of the links. Every time I see the links it is in
green.
I want to change it to blue.
The font tag will only change background of the slide (for a few seconds),
or the bullet color (if any).
I cannot find the option in the slide master to control link color.
What can I do?
You need to edit the color scheme. Format | Slide Design | Color Schemes,
then hit "edit color schemes" at the bottom of the task pane. The links and
followed links are the last two color swatches.

Which version of PPT are you using?
http://www.echosvoice.com/creatingmultiplemasters.htm has specifics on
changing the color scheme to make the links different colors on individual
slides. Those specifics start partway down the page, but reading the
beginning might not hurt, either. These instrux are for PPT 2002 and 2003.
