I'm using powerpoint 2007 and I insert a line chart into the presentation and
it fills in numbers automatically on the vertical and horizontal axis I know
how to change the horizontal numbers but can not figure out how to change the
vertical axis numbers to what I want. Can someone please help me with this. I
am going crazy and Microsoft wants me to pay them 49.00 to tell me where to
point and click to resolve the issue which i'm sure is simple but I can't
figure it out.

Right-click the axis and choose Format Axis. Input your numbers for
min/max/major/minor on the Axis Options tab.

Alternatively, Chart Tools Layout | Axes | Primary Vertical Axis | More
Options.

Is there not a way for me on the vertical axis to input numers like 300, 400,
500, 600, 750, and 800 only without it counting by 100's or 50's. You know
just those specific numbers showing it seems like there should really be a
option to do that.

No, there's not an option to do that.
