I have been running this presentation for several weeks and suddenly it stops
at a particular point.  It will do this every time I get to this point.  I
have tried replacing the slide, putting another slide in the place of the
next one, the ending one, but to no avail.  For some reason, PPT thinks it
has reached the end of the presentation.  Any ideas would be appreciated?

Look at Slide Show > Set up Show. Unders Show Slides, make sure All Slides is
selected.
