How do I add a timer to a powerpoint presentation?

I don't want to use timed slide transitions, I want a clock running on my
presentation, or some way of knowing how much longer I have to go.

I've found the countdown clock program to work well (on the link that Shawn
posted) BUT they have brought out a new version which doesn't really do what
you need - search around the page for "Old Version" It's not free (but cheap)
and there's a free trial period.

Hi Daisy

You may want to look at Presenter View - it has a clock telling you how long
you've been going for as well as other neat features.

If you need more info, let us know your version.
