I was building a presentation in PP 2000 (I know, I need to upgrade) like I
have a million times, but suddenly I stopped getting any sound from the
objects I have been inserting. Still get sound when I play them in Media
Player, but they refuse to play in powerpoint anymore. Anyone have any
suggestions?

Marinebrit

maybe the 'total path length' is to long to the sounds you have been
inserting.

as a test
try putting your sounds in this folder

c:\test

then, in powerpoint, try using

insert menu > sounds > from file

navigate to
c:\test

and insert a sound

does that play?

cheers
