can you play mp4 movies in powerpoint 2003

can you play mp4 movies in powerpoint 2003? When I try to load a movie file,
then MP4 does not appear as a file type option. Are there plugin you can get
for MP4 movies

Your best method would be to convert it to a more usage format (WMV).
However, MP4's may contain DRM protection that precludes their use.
