I tried to save my powerpoint presentation to a USB key but it said " can not
save. file is set to read only" how do I turn this off?

Right click on the file and select properties.  One of those properties is
read only.

It is also possible that the presentation has been saved with a password.
If this is the case you can not re-save it without the password.

Save it to your local hard drive then copy to the USB key.

If you get the same message when saving to the hard drive, let us know.
