Kodak has been no help.  Their current s/w app, EasyShare, cannot open their
own created file format!  I have downloaded their most current version and
still it doesn't work.

I can see a preview of my .fpx pics within MSFT PPt when I go to
Insert-Picture-File.  But when I select the actual picture to import into
Power Point, I always get an error message stating it doesn't support the
file type.  How is it that I can see the picture in the preview, but not the
actual picture within the Power Point slide?

I guess kodak software should convert the fpx file to jpeg.
PPT won't be able to insert .fpx files.
There are some softwares that can convert from fpx to jpg.

or you can install IrfanView and plug in for convert fpx to jpeg.
