align text to the right of a bullet in a text box

For some reason, when I try to use a custom bullet setting in a text box, my
text does not lign up beneath the bullet to the right.  The Text should all
lign up together.

If you draw a text box yourself and add bullets, you have to align them
yourself.
Select all the bulleted paragraphs of your textbox, in the ruler, drag the
bottom two carats at the beginning of the ruler, to do that position the
curser on the top one of the two. If the ruler is not visible, click View
menu, and check ruler. Works pretty much like in Word.
