can you get back a file after you copy and replace?

i copyed and replaced a file by mistake and lost part of my text, is there
any way of getting back the original? i was useing power point.

Probably not, but if you're using Vista, you may be able to restore a
previous version by right-clicking the file in a Window.

Did you ever send your presentation by e-mail to someone? Then you might be
able to retrieve your file from the Sent mails.
