How can I animate multiple slides at a time?

I am a teacher and use powerpoint for my student's notes.  I need the text of
each slide to be animated.  It takes so long to go in one at a time.  Can I
animate the text of each slide all at once?

You can assign the animation to the master slide. All slide which follow the
master will inherit the animation.
