Larry, which timing do you mean? There are timings for animation on the
slide and timings for slide transition. If you mean the later go to "Slide
Show /  Slide transition / Automatically after..." and change the seconds
there. If you have a lot of animations on the slide than you have to go
through all the custom animations and change the time.

I should have mentioned that I transitioned to Office 2007 in the middle of
creating a presentation. aarrrrrrrrggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!  The learning curve was
getting to me.  With your reply I was able to identify where to find the
slide transition (not aninmation) timing.

Not a very good idea, I suppose. But on the other hand you will learn even
faster when you have to. In Germany we "are thrown into cold water" - and
hope to swim.
