In PowerPoint 2007 I am attempting to hyperlink to pdf files. I am creating them using the Insert Ribbon and hyperlink (as I wish to display the pathname) and they are not working. They flash up and then close again. hyperlinking to Word files work fine - is there a problem with Acrobat (V8 Reader, V7 Writer) and integration with Office 2007? I'm not sure what you mean by V7 Writer. Acrobat version 7? In any case, it sounds like an earlier bug in Acrobat Reader may have reappeared; it behaved pretty much exactly as you describe. What app opens PDFs when you double click them? That's what'll also display them from a PPT hyperlink.
