I've created a presentation using a corporate Master Slide.  I then changed
the color of the text for better visibility. Now, I am unable to save the
presentation as revised - it reverts back to black print.  What am I doiung
wrong?

Hi Gretchen

Have a read of this:
Text size or other formatting is lost when you save, close, and reopen a
presentation
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00849.htm

If that doesn't help post back and let us know what version are you using
and how/where you are changing the text colour.
