Is there anyway to type words onto screen during presentation?

I know how to a pen and highlighter durign a presentation but sometimes it
would be handy during feedback to type on screen and be able to save slide
without going out of show view and back to slide view...any ideas gratefully
received

You can do this be adding a control text box
