I use the link function in Powerpoint to load data from Excel sheets and this
works fine. However, the first time I refresh after the initial 'paste
special - link' has been added, it shows the row and column lines from the
excel sheet that were not there previously. I don't want them to show but
cannot find a way to prevent it. Any ideas?

Lindsay-- this happens to be occassionally with my "dashboard" (a constantly
updated spreadsheet that has its data linked into a powerpoint). The only
way I'm able to fix this is by re-doing the link and making sure nothing is
next to the cells I'm linking (ie, keeping a graph or chart well clear of the
cells in question).
Not sure if that helps but it works for me...most of the time!
