My sister made a slide show and im assuming that she saved it in a read only

burned and played as a slide show. Please help

Can you open the file?  If so, probably the easiest thing for you to
do is to save the file to your own computer as some new filename
([File] --> [Save as...]) and then do what you need to from the new
version.

Hope that helps,
Kevin

Did you get the show via email? On a CD? Does it open automatically?

Dear Mess:

You should be able to burn the "readonly" file to a CD!  Otherwise:

Right click Start >
Click Explore >
Go to where the file is stored (Usually My Videos)
Right click the file name
At the bottom of the box click Properties
At the bottom of the box uncheck "Read Only"

Files saved on CD's are usually "Read Only" (because that's what a CD does!)

The file that was meant for the CD is probably not something you can edit or
change in any way.

If she used PhotoStory, there is probably another file named something.wp3

You should be able to search for the .wp3 file and edit it. (Only if she
used PhotoStory.)
