James-- if you can please provide some additional info such as your version of powerpoint, type of computer/operating system and so on. James, in this case, don';t use copy and paste method. If your image source is from the internet, save your image into your comp. then locate your newly saved pic - insert>picture>from file. i dunno y it doesn't show. most important thing that you can insert it on your slide.
