I don't really know of any extensive in-depth PPT 2007 tutorials. There are
some books and videos, but none are free. Are you looking for something
specific?

No, I use Powerpoint 2003, and so more or less know the advanced features in
that version. Just wanted to get up to speed with 2007, since I am now
starting to work in it more.

I know Echo will be too modest to tell you so I will: she has the *best*
info on all the new features in 2007 here http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm

Hello,
Yes, that is a good list. I think what I will do is to use the product help
to search for each of these items.

Aw, Lucy and Troy are too kind.
Holler back if you find specific features you're interested in and want more
information on. I know http://office.microsoft.com has some good info, too,
but it's not usually very in-depth.

If you want to search through posts over the past year I have done a number
of mini-tutorials on PPT 2007 features at www.thepowerpointblog.com.
You have already visited Echo's site. I would also recommend a book Echo
co-authored called "PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit" as it covers a
lot of the more advanced design tools and uses.

Troy, thanks for recommending the Makeover book -- the book does introduce
you to all the new features in PowerPoint 2007 except the Slide Library --
and every sample presentation is available on the CD with the book.
In addition to that book, there's another book called Advanced PowerPoint
2007 by Wayne Kao and Jeff Huang -- this one will help an intermediate
PowerPoint user improve their skills to an advanced level.
I think both books complement each other.
You'll find excerpts from both books on my site:
