Can I show live video within a Power Point presentation

We want to cover an awards ceremony where the details of winners are on a
Powerpoint slide and video of them actually receiving the award is
simulteneously on screen.

The venue has one screen and one projector

We can input Firewire Digital Video from our camera at the event into our
pc. Will Powerpoint enable us to display it with the Powerpoint slides?
