Why don't I get any bullets on the bullet list in PowerPoint 2007

I'm reformating and updating a PowerPoint presentation created with
PowerPoint 2003 with the new PowerPoint 2007. But the indexing is a line off.
The cursor is up one line from the text.

any suggestions?

Hi

Install a local printer driver (there doesn't need to be a physical
printer). I know it sounds crazy but it fixes all kinds of weird display
issues.
