how can i use clip art in a graph, such as stacking or piling books to

Yes, double-click to open the chart, right-click one of the bars, and choose
Format Data Series. On the Patterns tab, click Fill Effects, then the Picture
tab. Click Select Picture and choose a picture file. (In 2007, click the Fill
category, and choose Picture or Texture Fill.) In the same dialog box, choose
Stretch, Stack, or Stack and Scale To. You'll probably want to make the bars
as wide as possible, which you do on the Options tab (Series Options category
in 2007) of the same dialog box- reduce the gap width.

Is that what you were looking for?
