I have windows office 2007 I am using powerpoint when I am finished using it
and try to shut it down I get an error message (send error report) I have
tried not sending to see if it will shut down but it reopens the only way I
can close this application is to shut down the computer completely which is
not always convenient. Any good ideas of what could be wrong??

I can't remember which fix usually takes care of this one, but I think it's
one of the following:

1. Printer driver. Sounds weird, but there are issues with PPT 2007 and
printer drivers. Please follow the instructions at
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00605.htm to install a local, Windows-certified
printer driver. (Just use the driver that FAQ uses, in fact.)

2. Third-party add-ins. Go to Office Button | PPT Options | Add-ins. What's
listed there?

If those don't work, then try running diagostics in Office Button | PPT
Options | Resources. You might also make sure you've installed service pack
1 for Office 2007.

I'll be interested to know if any of those do the trick, but especially if
it's the printer driver because we're trying to gather system information
from users who've had their PPT 2007 issues fixed by installing or
changing/updating the printer driver.
