Page orientation in Notes/Handouts/Slides

If I change the 'Notes Page orientation' in the Notes Master from Landscape
to Portrait and vice versa, I then find that the Handout orientation has
automatically changed in the Handout Master, to match. Same happens if I
change the Handout Master - Notes Master changes to match.
Q: is it possible to select a different orientation for the Notes master and
the Handout master? I note that the Page Setup dialog box there is a 'joint'
tab for Notes, Handouts and Outline - could this be what prevents me doing
that?

Also - if I am in the Notes master or Handout master and change the SLIDE
orientation, it changes the orientation of slides in Normal view as well,
which I did not expect.
Q: is it possible to change the orientation of slides in the Notes and
Handouts master WITHOUT the slide orientation in Normal view being affected?

How exactly do you do this?

The only option I know of is File, Page Setup and change the setting for
"Notes, handouts and outline".

This applies the chosen setting to the entire presentation, not just the master
or specific pages and as the wording suggests, applies to notes, handouts and
outline view.

No, unfortunatly not.

I don't think so but what exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Maybe there's another way to get there from here.
