When I try to insert a picture/clip art into a SmartArt I can only insert a file from my hard drive. Is there a way to insert directly from Microsoft web site without having to download? Hi GerH AFAIK you can't insert clipart/pics from the MS website directly into SmartArt - as you've seen as soon as you click the picture icon it takes you to 'My Pictures. However, what you can do is download the pictures from the website first and they will automatically go into My pictures -> Microsoft Clip Organiser.
