I have saved a picture into powerpoint. But the picture has text that I want
to remove. Is there anyway to delete or hide the text that came over with
the picture?

Which version of PowerPoint are you using. If the text is art of the image
you would be better off removing it using a paint program.

If the picture has a solid color background, you could draw a rectangle or other
shape atop the text to hide it.
Otherwise no; you'll need to open the original picture file (or a copy of it) in
an image editing program (even MS Paint might do) and paint over the text there.
