Using PPT 2007.  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Office Suite.
It always freezes when I am working with charts (pies, columns, bars).
There is no animation anywhere in it.  Any help or suggestions on why and how
to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

There's a known bug that causes this when you use the arrow keys to move around
within the chart of in some cases, move the chart around a lot with the mouse.

IIRC, it was introduced with SP2; uninstalling SP2 might help but will remove so
many other bugfixes that it might not be worth it.
