PDF printing
We just started using publisher 2003, we created a file with 32 pages that contain text, embedded pictures and object from CorelDraw and Photoshop. When we try to print to both regular and PDF a message pops up saying:
“Update embedded objects?
The properties of this publication’s printer have changed…..Click yes to update… click no to keep …”
Unfortunately both “YES” and “NO” have the same affect!!! When clicking either of them results with the same affect: it delays the sending to print by 10-20 minutes (there are many objects in the file). My question is am I doing something wrong? Or there is a way to disable the whole update thing.

My second question is if there is a way to change the number of the pages on the tabs bellow?

Thanks

sounds like you used copy and paste or something to get the objects in the
document.

don't do it that way.

With difficulty.
What has happened, and I would suggest the file size would accordingly
demonstrate this, whatever you copied and pasted from some other program has
dragged in all the OLE components and embedded them in the file.  This used
to be a common problem many years ago and have not seen this issue now for I
would safely say five years.  Do you have some particular program that is
reasonably old, as that will be the culprit.
The sad news is, you cannot get the code to remove itself.  If this is the
issue, the only way to get around and fix the file is to copy from the
existing Publisher file to a new file.
This issue is not a problem of Publisher, but from the program you are
copying and pasting from.  Corel Draw, Micrografix Picture Publisher and
Micrografx Draw and quite a few others were terrible for this problem.
Corel Draw has not been a problem since around ver. 5.0/6.0.
