I am currently trying to make PDF files from Publisher 2002 for CMYK
printing. My original publisher file is a CMYK document, and I've checked to
make sure that all the black text is 100% K.
I'm making a postscript file using the "Generic Color PS for Commercial
Printing" diver that I downloaded from the Publisher website, and distilling
it using Acrobat Distiller 6.0. The problem is that all the black text in the
resulting PDF's separates into all four CMYK colors rather than just black.
Files that I have created in Pagemaker or Quark and distilled in the same
manner will separate correctly to our imagesetter. Any ideas?   Thanks.

CMYK is not correctly handled by Publisher 2002 and earlier versions.
Your only solution is to upgrade to Publisher 2003. It will solve this
problem.
