MS Office Forum / Publisher / Commercial Printing / August 2005My Image Color Matching is not available.
I'm having difficulty getting the colors on my screen to print correctly on laser printer. I went to Advanced Print Settings and tried to select 'Improve screen and printer color matching' box, but it was gray (unavailable). How do I get this option to be available? Do I need to download something or purchase software/cards? Software is Publisher 2000. It is also found here:Tools, options, general tab, check "Improve screen and print matching." Most times this causes more grief than help. If it is already checked, uncheck it. Do you have an inkjet? Print tab, You might get improvement by checking "Print line-by-line" You probably would get better results if you update your printer driver. Go to the manufacturer's web site and look around.
