Hi,

Problem:

When using File / Print / Advanced Print Settings / Output: Composite CMYK,
some of the documents images are missing, but when choosing Composite RGB,
the output contains all images.

Example:

CMYK output PostScript print file: 11 MB, some images missing
RGB output PostScript print file: 29 MB, no images missing

Design checker has no comments, except one: "Page has space below top margin"

Print driver used: Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing
Publisher 2003 version: SP1 ver. 11.6255.6408

An file example which contains this problem can be downloaded here:
ftp.skov.dk/test/Publisher-CMYK-bug.zip

Is there a workaround for this issue?

Regards,
Peter

My solution would be to not use cmyk from Publisher (I don't like their
conversions one little bit) but to get it out as rgb then attend to it
in other ways; on the rip, in imposiiton software, with PitStop, there
are numerous. The result, in my experience, has been uniformly much,
much better.

Of course, this won't help much if you (or yor printer) don't have the
kit or experience to do it.
