I am kind of a novice. But I made a brochure for my church. When I went to
print it, there was more space at the end of the page which meant it threw
the whole brochure off being centered. I used the brochure wizard so
shouldn't it line up properly. Thanks for any help.
Did you do a Print Preview before you printed it?

I did a print preview and it looks fine. Mary Sauer has answered this
question too but I had another question to her answer that I hope will help
me better understand what she wants me to do.

This is a limitation of your printer margins.
Open WordPad, page setup, landscape, type zero into each margin space, WordPad
will default to your printer margin limitation.

Thank you for your answer. But I have a dumb question. Why would I change
the margins in wordpad instead of publisher where my brochure is? If I did
it in publisher would it still work for the brochure? Like I said, being a
novice I am not sure about these things and just wondered why I should do it
in wordpad. Thanks

Because when you change the margins to 0, they will automatically snap to
the bare minimum your printer can handle.

Where do I find word pad? I don't see it anywhere.

I found word pad and tried to make the changes. These are the lowest
settings it would let me do. Left .25 Right .251 Top .06 Bottom
.5. Is there another way to change the settings? Also I didn't find a
place in publisher to change the margins. Thanks

Arrange menu... When you design a brochure it will be landscaped and the largest
margin will be on the right, if your publication is portrait the largest margin
will be on the bottom.
So, in your case the right margin will be .5. Are you using a template or
creating from scratch?

I got the brochure from the wizard but customized it to what I need so does
that mean it is from a template? Thanks for your help

The wizard brochures are setup in most cases to use the maximum space on a
letter size paper. You will have to make adjustments. In the arrange menu set
the right margin for .5 and the left for .25, adjust the design to fit into the
new space.

Thanks alot for your help. I have rearranged everything and it looks good.
I have one more question. I am using Publisher 2000. I had it from my
previous computer. When I purchased this computer from Dell about nine weeks
ago I also purchased the 2003 publisher with it but they keep saying it is on
back order from Microsoft. First question...how long does it take microsoft
to ship this to Dell, second do I need the new version. I have read other
emails on this site and people saying to keep both versions on your computer.
My question is why have two. Shouldn't the newer version have everything
the older version had? I really appreciate your help. Sincerely, mama

There are features in 2003 that are not available in 2000. Might look here:

Publisher 2003 Product Information

If you bought Publisher from Dell, tell them you want a credit and buy it
elsewhere. Amazon promises a few days. Nine weeks is a bit much. This isn't
Microsoft's fault, this is definitely a Dell issue. Get on the phone and give
them grief...
