Hi there!  This is my first post here, and I'm hoping that somebody can help
me?  I've created both a flyer and a 2-sided postcard using the Beta 2007
Version of Publisher (complete with the technical refresh), however when
trying to publish either file as a .pdf for commerical printing I'm getting
this error message: Publisher cannot save file.  I've used this beta prior to
this to create and print both flyers and postcards before the technical
refresh was installed...I never had a problem saving to .pdf for printing.
Is anybody able to help?  :o(

Have you downloaded the PDF add-in for the Beta? The PDF feature was removed in
the refresh.

Are you using an actual PDF program such as Adobe Acrobat?

Hi Mary :o)  Yes...I have downloaded the add-in from the microsoft website.
It was only after I installed the add-in that I began getting the error
message.  I'm also using Adobe Acrobat, however to save as a .pdf I am trying
to use Publisher via the "Publish as a pdf" function and/or the function that
prepares your file for a commerical printer.  Should I try saving it in
Adobe?

you may just want to install the generic ps printer in the "add printer"
settings...
then you save your document as a ps file, distill it and then it makes the
PDF for you...I'm still using pub 2003, do you know if you can import a PDF
file into a document in publisher 2007?

Hi Marc,

I am using the 2007 Beta, and I've used it before to publish .pdf files.  I
never had a problem with it until I installed the technical refresh.
